Warfit Clothing Co. Is proud to welcome JORGE HENRY to the #TEAMWARFIT

Jorge's Story:

My name Jorge R Henry and I'm a USAF combat veteran who served 5 years in the TACP(Tactical Air Control Party) as a JTAC(Joint Terminal Attack Controller). During my last deployment I was awarded a Purple Heart and Air Force combat Action medal for a gunshot wound to my right hand. As a veteran who is accustomed to operating at such a high pace, competitive bodybuilding naturally allows me to continue to push my body beyond its limits. In 2011, when I was shot, my initial thought was, "I'm not going to be able to workout anymore!" Luckily for me, following a few years of rehabilitation, I was able to bounce back from this disability.

In June 2014, when I competed in my 1st competition, the NPC Northern California Championships, I placed 2nd. In that moment, I realized I wanted to continue to compete and win. In October 2014, in the NPC Sacramento Championship I brought home the 1st place win in the Novice Heavyweight Division.

In my personal life experience and I conduct myself, I apply this mindset toward the everyday struggles of being a husband, father, veteran and bodybuilder. I am a firm believer that competitive bodybuilding is just as much mental as it is physical.
