Change can scare people. This is a subject that I often discuss with new competitors and people beginning their fitness journey.

You may lose friends. You may see some family distance themselves. You will be judged by people who won’t understand YOUR goals and dreams. They won’t always understand why you put in long hours training, meal prepping, or why you brought prepped food to functions or events. They may try to ridicule you or put you down….but remember, what others think is not important. How you feel about yourself is all that matters.

You may feel alone at first, I’ve had a few clients describe it as feeling “outcasted”. But As time passes you”ll stop caring what people think, and you will form bonds and friendships with people who are also on the same path as you, who support you, encourage you, and inspire you.
